Contemporary Creative Artist
CCA
ADVANCED POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA
With CCA you get a flexible soloist program with an overall focus on artistic and compositional creation and communication. As a main subject, the creative/compositional element forms the core element together with the further development of your instrumental/vocal skills.
About the programme
CCA is a flexible soloist program that, in addition to being open to all genres, also offers the opportunity to work both collectively and individually. You can choose to involve other soloist students in your artistic projects during the two years of study.
The ambition is for the programme to contribute to promoting collective and co-creative elements and to promote the genre-open approach that characterizes the study environment in Esbjerg.
The soloist program aims to develop the student’s ability to perform at the highest artistic level. This means that the student must be able to meet the professional demands of both the institutionalized and non-institutionalized labour market.
The development and nurturing of the individual student's unique talent is the central element of the teaching, which is reflected in the organization of the course of study.
The profile of the program shows in both the entrance exam and the debut concert, which emphasizes a high artistic/compositional, creative and communicative aim and a high instrumental/vocal level.
Schedule
Your schedule will vary from week to week throughout the year. Some subjects are only available for limited periods during the year, while other subjects are available throughout the year. In addition to the scheduled classes, you should plan to set aside time for practicing and for unscheduled study activities such as masterclasses, workshops and concerts. When you do not have scheduled classes, you can reserve available rooms for practicing alone or with other students.
Below is an example of what a schedule might look like in a random week during the year.
