About the programme

Whether you perform, teach or inspire, musicianship is at the centre of your work, which is why your main instrument or voice is the focal point of the programme. In addition to teaching your main instrument, the programme includes chamber music and ensemble playing, and during your studies you will participate in projects with professional ensembles.

Furthermore, you will be taught a wide range of subjects that will prepare you to make your musical mark on the world around you in the best possible way. You will receive both theoretical and practical training in pedagogy, entrepreneurship and a number of other supporting subjects that will give you the prerequisites to create your own career as a professional musician, teach at different levels and conceive, launch and complete artistic projects.

In addition to scheduled lessons, you can participate in masterclasses with internationally recognized musicians, interdisciplinary project weeks, study trips and much more.

Finally, DNA of Music also has a strong focus on musicians health, so you'll learn to take care of yourself and avoid unnecessary injuries and challenges.

Schedule

Your schedule will vary from week to week throughout the year. Some subjects are only available for limited periods during the year, while other subjects are available all year round. In addition to the scheduled classes, you should plan to set aside time for practice and unscheduled study activities such as masterclasses and workshops.
